Oriental Sails - Cruise for a lifetime experience Built in 2007 in ancient Vietnamese style, Oriental Sails features 18 deluxe cabins of traditional style combined with modern facilities and comfort. The junk boasts rattan & wooden furnishings, a multitude of windows for amazing views from the inside, and a panoramic sundeck allowing different activities with the beauty of Halong Bay as a backdrop. The cabins are designed and fitted international standards, featuring a rich wooden decor, with large windows from which to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Halong Bay. The comfortable bedding with luxuriant linens ensures you a restful sleep in style. Cabin amenities: Air-conditioner, Mini – bar, Slippers, Bathroom amenities, Wardrobe, Private shower with hot water.

A wide range of activities are planned during your cruising with Oriental Sails Exploring the caves, kayaking through floating villages, swimming in the middle of nowhere, climbing stiff rocks rising out of breathtaking Lan Ha Bay, snapping photos of a lifetime, sunbathing on a pampered deck , to name but a few… All contribute to make your visit a truly memorable one.

Day 1: Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay (L/D)
08h00 – 08h30: Pick-up at hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Hong Gai Tourist Wharf, check in Oriental Sails JSC’s private waiting hall - The OS Lounge.
12h30 – 13h00: Embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing.
13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as Oriental Sails cruises further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay.
15h30 – 17h00: You are free to choose one of the below options:

  • Option 1: Join in bamboo trip around Vung Vieng fishing village to discover lifestyle of local people there.
  • Option 2: Kayaking through Ban Chan Lagoon (a water cave). For those who do not fancy kayaking can relax or swim at Ban Chan Beach.
     

17h00 – 18:00: Return to Oriental Sails and have bath then relax as the sun starts to set.
18h00-19h00: Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar and on the sun deck and take part in our cooking class with Oriental Sails Chef
19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, night squid fishing or just laze around. Singing and dancing activities are available till 22h00.
21h00: Have second Happy Hour till late evening. Overnight on board at Cong Do Area
 

Day 2: Bai Tu Long – Hanoi (B/L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck.
07h00 – 08h00: Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while cruising toward Co Cave or Thay Cave
08h00 – 09h00: Visit Co Cave or Thay Cave
09h30 – 10h00: Check-out room. Luggage can be delivered to the reception area.
10h00 – 11h00: Head back to the Harbor. Have early lunch on board.
Disembark Oriental Sails at around 12h00.
12h00 – 16h30: Transfer back to Hanoi and trip finishes at the hotel around 16h30

08h30 – 09h00: Transfer to day boat for a cruise to Tra San – Cap La Area
09h00 – 16h30: Have the whole day relaxing and kayaking around Tra San – Cap La Area the less touristic area.
18h00 – 22h00: Contemplate romantic sunset. Enjoy dinner, partying, fishing or just lazing. O/n on board.

Day 3: Bai Tu Long Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck.
